Note: Two years ago Matt had a very serious accident when he was hit by a big cement truck. He broke both legs and his hip. At this moment most of the misery and pain have gone, but not everything. There is still an unbalance in both legs.

Qualities as a rider: Matt is no sprinter, but he is very strong in making the pace. At this moment his career on the track gets most of the attention. Recently he rode the worldcup event in Beijing in China, but he intends to concentrate more on the road as soon as other coming track events like worldcups and the worldchampionships will be over.
